A Bit of Drama
Kitchen on the return of a Georgian house. The walls are in a dark reflective paint to create the warmth of candle lit Georgian interior at night. Concealed food pantry and storage in the alcoves maximise the small space.
Practical with Character
Small city centre apartment so space is a premium. Given the limited space, bespoke cabinetry included high storage accessed by ladder. A new door in the style of the cabinets was added to open up a small area under the stairs, to house fridge freezer, microwave, washer dryer and food storage.
Bright and Smart
A dark kitchen with little natural light was transformed using mirrored splash-back, a single slab of white honed marble on the floor and 1960s Italian chandelier.
This was a small budget project on a top floor apartment of a 19th Century building. An old island was removed to create more space, the old 1980s cabinets were painted and wood counter top added. Small white tiles add texture and a more contemporary feel, while the white floorboards evoke a Scandinavian look, which is complemented by black Finnish chairs and white table.
